Metro - NYC GRAD FALL RETREAT 2026

Jesus is our Arche (ἀρχή)--our beginning, our leader, and the one who gives meaning to all we do. As we begin another year of study and research, we gather to put Jesus first. Through a study of Luke 14, prayer, and community, we will explore what it means to live in his banquet: receiving his welcome, enjoying life with him, and making room at the table for others.

Come meet fellow graduate students, connect with others in your field, make new friends, and begin the academic year with a renewed imagination for what it looks like to follow Jesus in graduate school.

There's room at the table. Let’s begin together—with Jesus at the center.
